Trip Cancellation: Up to 100 percent of trip cost
Reimburses your prepaid, nonrefundable expenses if you must cancel your trip due to a covered reason. Up to $100,000 per person.
Example: You or your traveling companion or an immediate family member not traveling with you fall seriously ill or worse, and you cannot take your trip. With a doctor's note explaining why you cannot go on the trip, Allianz will provide reimbursement for the nonrefundable portion of the trip.
Medical Protection: No deductibles. Up to $50,000 per person in benefits for losses due to medical and dental emergencies that occur on your trip. ($500 maximum for emergency dental care)
Important: Your regular health insurance may not cover maladies incurred while traveling abroad. A ship infirmary is considered a foreign entity, and charges can be quite high. Standard medicare will likewise not cover illnesses incurred while on foreign soil. After it is determined that your primary insurance will not cover the medical expenses incurred while traveling, Allianz will reimburse up to $50,000 per person.
Emergency Medical Transportation: Up to $1,000,000 for medically necessary transportation to the nearest appropriate facility, and the cost of transportation back home.
Life flights have been known to cost $25,000/hour in remote regions.
Missed Connection: Up to $1,000 per person. Reimburses for covered expenses resulting from a covered delay that causes you to miss your scheduled flight or cruise.
Trip Interruption: Up to 150 percent of trip cost
Provides reimbursement for the unused, nonrefundable portion of your trip and for the increased transportation costs it takes for you to return home due to a covered reason. Up to $150,000 per person.
Example: You or your traveling companion or an immediate family member not traveling with you fall seriously ill or worse while you're on your trip, and you must return home prematurely. With a doctor's note explaining the incident and why the trip needed to be cut short, Allianz will provide reimbursement for the nonrefundable portion of the trip.
Travel Delay: Receive up to $200 per day per person to cover additional accommodation and travel expenses due to a departure delay of six or more hours. Up to $1,000 per person
Travel Accident: $25,000; provides payment for covered losses due to death, loss of limb(s), or sight as a result of a covered accident.
Baggage Loss/Damage: Up to $2,500 per person for the loss, damage or theft of baggage and personal effects. Includes a $500 per article limit.
Example: You're having lunch at a local cafe, and an item you are carrying in your back pocket is pickpocketed. With a police report from local authorities and the original receipt, Allianz will reimburse you for up to $500 per item, and up to $2,500 in all.
Baggage Delay: Up to $500 per person for the purchase of essential items if your baggage is delayed or misdirected by a common carrier for 24 hours or more. Receipts for emergency purchases are required.

ALLIANZ CANCEL ANYTIME INSURANCE
Cancel your trip for almost any reason that Worldwide Travel Protection does not cover and receive 80 percent of all nonrefundable cancellation costs.
PREEXISTING CONDITIONS are covered when a policy is purchased by final trip payment, and all nonrefundable costs are included in the policy.
This is a huge advantage over most other insurance policies on the market, which usually require policy purchase within two weeks of the deposit.
INSURANCE COSTS are determined by cost of trip and age of traveler. A quote will be provided at the time of booking.
